Cool Nair for Face! LOVE IT!!

Hi There-
Has anyone tried Nair for the Face? Not regular Nair that you would use on your legs, but the one specifically made for the face. It's a great product and only $4.99 (CVS, Eckerd,Harmon). You smooth on a thick coat and wait about 10 minutes and wipe off with a wet washcloth and VIOLA - the hair is gone, even the dark course ones that grow from my chin and sideburns. It contains almond oil which makes my skin very smooth. And... it lasts about a week which is really nice. Sometimes the really dark course hairs start to come back but you can see them right away and pluck them while they are still really little. Just thought I would share - I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!

Cindy

I know that everyone is different and what works for one person may certainly not work for another and vice versa.

However, I used nair for the face once, it was the one that you can pain on with a brush thingie, and WOAH it did burn me like the leg one and I also had quite a nasty reaction to it and ended up with bumps and red irritation in the places where I have used it. Just a word of warning, but again everyone is obviously different.

I just recently posted about a new product I used called Surgi Cream (I bought mine in the UK but it is a US product and I know they have it on the Eckerds website). Anyways, this contains cucumber and aloe vera and is also sold with a balm. You leave it on for no more than 8 minutes at the most and then wipe off, it didn't tingle or sting and I have had nooo nasty irritations from it either. The balm is dreamy though, you apply it afterward and it really feels and smells nice.

I prefer this method to waxing because whenever I wax I always ALWAYS ALWAYS miss spots and then I don't usually find out until the next day that I have missed these spots because I am in some funky lighting that shows it. Then I have to go through the process again. Anyway I have rambled enough, try surgi cream too though, it works, great.
