 Nasacort AQ-Feel free to move!
I'm not sure where the right place to post this or if this is allowed, so feel free to move or delete!
I have been taking Nasacort AQ for the past year and a half and it has been the only thing that has helped my sinuses (I have lots of scar tissue inside my nostrils from years of chronic infections as a kid). Recently I enrolled in graduate school and the school insurance I signed up for has NO prescription coverage. However, they do have a pharmacy in the health center so students can recieve drugs at a discounted price.
Unfortuneatly, without insurance Nasacort AQ costs $96 at Target and $73 at the health center. With two cats I am going to die without this stuff, but can't afford to pay $73!
I am wondering if this stuff is an OTC product in other countries (It's manufactured in the UK and I don't know the difference between medication regulations of the USA and the UK, but I find it a little odd that the address for Aventis Labs on the box have a UK address if medications from other countries are "not safe"-maybe that's just a general address?) or are they prescription. I am so desperate for this I may ask my mom to refill my prescription for my Christmas present! Any advice/input is much appreciated!
