I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer.

Does your period have to come at the same time every month for it to be considered 'normal' ?

Thanks for posting that link! Do you need to pay postage if you are in a country other than the UK? Does anyone here get this product shipped to them postage free? I am really keen to try this, but can't seem to find postage options on the site

Hi,

this is Jean from buynaturalprogesterone.co.uk here.

There are no postage options on the site because quite simply what you see is what you are getting! Postage is free, to anywhere in the world. In the last 2 days I have shipped to Gibralter, Malta, Finland and USA.

I am not in this for anything other than helping. I have PCOS myself but at 48 I found out about stuff far too late for me. Most of you still have a chance of conceiving.

It is possible that at some time in the future I may have to increase prices slightly to account for the exchange against the US Dollar (the pound is good currently) and increases in postage charges by the UK postal system. However I have no plans to do any of that currently.

Best,

Jean

Well I was going to answer you queries but I Don't need to as the lovely Jean has beaten me to it

Like Jean siad you dont pay postage.

Hi Paola I think as long as you have a cycle every month thats what they call normal. But then again define normal when it comes to PCOS

So far I have been having AF every 34-38 day's and I count that as normal.

No, I am working on my 2nd round of NPC without having AF. Hopefully, I will get AF soon.

New question for you.

I'm still breastfeeding (FREQUENTLY) and AF hasn't returned. DD is almost 14 months old. I've noticed changes (cervical fluid, cramping) but no AF.

If I start using NPC will it jump start things and make AF come back? I don't know if I really want to deal with my period but at the same time I'd like my body to start to normalize (as normal as it can be with PCOS).

Any advice? I just bought some when I ordered my Barleylife (from AIM) recently.

(I'm not a doctor - so do check with yours, but here is what I know...)

I know if you want to go on oral contraceptives and still breast-feed, alot of OBGYN's recoomend taking a a progesterone only pill, commonly called the mini-pill. (Most common brand name is micronor). Regular OC's aren't recommended because they can interfer with nursing and milk supply. The progesterone mini-pills do have to be taken at the same time every day [much less margin for error], but won't affect your milk supply.

All that to say, because the mini-pill is recommended as an OC for nursing moms who want to continue nursing, I don't think Natural Progesterone Cream would harm your milk supply or be harmful. I have no idea if taking it for 14 days and then discontinuing would trigger you to have a period though. I'm thinking perhaps the frequent nursing might counter-act that to some extent?

Hi Jean (and everyone else),

I have just ordered some cream from your site funnily enough!

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind?

1. How much cream should I use per day, and how do you measure it (teaspoon)?

2. Will I have to stop using the cream to get AF, or will it still happen naturally? I hate the thought of extending my cycles, as that means fewer chances of getting pregnant!

Thanks,

Dagmar

Hi Dagmar,

I hope that by the time you see this you will have your cream. You too lackyband although I have no idea on the shipping time to Western Oz!

I think there are people here with better experience than me as when I was TTC I was totally unaware of the existence of this product. However I would say to start taking it around day 14 of your cycle or if you know when you ovulate about 3 days afterwards. Use it for 14 days then stop. As to how much I would say half a teaspoon twice a day, say morning and evening.

Maybe someone else will offer their personal experience but I would say that don't forget we are all different and some are more deficient than others so we all have our own starting points. It may take a couple of months before anything starts to settle and regulate. I see PCOS chick, who may well cime in here and is very welcome to do so! said she had a horrendously long cycle. I note from her most recent post that her cycle seems to be getting a couple of days shorter each time, which has to be good news I would say.

I will close with a little encouragement for you all. Last summer I received an email from someone with exceptionally low levels of progesterone. She had sadly miscarried many times. Hewr Doctor said she would never carry because of low progesterone. She started using natural progesterone and soon conceived again. She continued with the progesterone right up to week 32 of her pregnancy when she tapered it off. At 38 weeks labour was induced and she had a lovely little girl, called Bonnie, just over 2 weeks ago. Bonnie is perfect and her parents and grandparents are ecstatic.

kind regards

Jean

Hi ladies. I've been reading this thread but I can't find an answer to my question so I'm hoping y'all can help.

I was on megesterol (like provera but industrial strength. Ugh, horrible, horrible side effects!)

Well recently I had a d&c, endometrial ablation (for horrible bleeding, clotting, I'm sure you all know the drill) and had my tubes tied. I quit taking the megesterol, and then the endo gave me sprintec (which I think is generic ortho tri-cyclen but I'm not positive) and it made me bleed for a month straight.

So now I've got much lighter bleeding thanks to the ablation, but it never goes away more than about a week at a time. So I was hoping that maybe the natural progesterone cream would help. Do you think it would stop the bleeding if I used it all month except for 1 week to have a period like the megesterol did?

I'm just soooo sick of bleeding, I should have bought stock in the always pad company. Their ads should say, "always, as in you'll always be on your period for the rest of your life!"

Any info is very appreciated!

My only side effect has been a little sleepiness, but who knows if that is from the NPC or real life!

I have a question for you all.

I used NPC for 13 days to bring on AF after a long cycle with no ovulation. I started spotting on the evening of day 13 of using the NPC. I've seen moderate to heavy spotting for 3 days now. I want to use soy on day 3 of my cycle. Should I expect a "real" cycle or is all of this spotting it?

I know that FF says that CD1 is the first day of full flow...but I haven't seen that yet. Do most of you get full AF with NPC or is it of the lighter variety? Should I wait another week to see if anything heavier develops? I don't want to miss my chance with soy this cycle, so suggestions would be much, much appreciated.
