I just had my results about that today.
Right after I miscarried, they thought I had the "killer cells" and I was told that it can be fixed with pills and/or shots. When I got my results today, I found out that I have a clotting disorder called ADA (not sure what it stands for) and it means that my blood clots too much and when I get pregnant, there are so many clots in my uterus that when the embryo attaches, the blood supply gets cut off very quickly from it and the baby dies.
I am doing another fresh IVF cycle and everything will be the same (bc pills, lupron, etc...) until after the retrieval. Then i'll be on 81mg baby asprin, Lovonox, which is a blood thinner, and Heparin which is a blood thinner that i'll be on until I deliver. My doctor doesn't thin the blood until 2days before the transfer because during the retrieval, if I start to bleed from my ovaries, he'd never know and I could bleed to death.
I wouldn't be to worried as most, if not all of these types of things are fixable I was told. If you ever want to talk, please im me! It makes it much easier when you talk to someone who is having the same problem.
