Default Natural M/C bleeding question..

I had a natural m/c on 7/8/05 the Dr said bleeding for 2 weeks.. Yes I know I'm only 1 day past that mark but I'm worried the bleeding has increased ALOT and the clots have started back. The clots had stopped around Monday or Tuesday this week and they have come back. My Dr has allowed me to wear tampons and I'm going through a SUPER PLUS tampon every 1.5hrs now. I'm ok with the bleeding I could handle that if my mind didnt give me the constant reminder of why I'm bleeding and send me in tears every 1.5hrs. So my question is... How long did your bleeding last and did it slow down and then start back heavy?

TIA!!!

I think my bleeding lasted around 10 days or so. I was 11 weeks along. I had lots of cramps/clots for the first day or two, and was filling an overnight pad every hour and a half to two hours. Then it slowed down and was just like a really heavy period for 5 days, and then I had a light flow for a few more days. I would call your doc and see what s/he says- I dont think the clots are supposed to make a reappearance. Also, I don't know about tampons, but I was told that if I was filling one heavy pad every hour, I was bleeding too much and should go to the doc/ER immedaitely.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.

I am sorry for your loss. Lots of ((((((((Hugs))))))))) to you. When I miscarried,I too was told by my SIL, who happens to be a nurse, that if your filling a pad an hour to goto the ER. Take care of yourself.

God Bless

I'm sorry, I had a d&c... but I'd definitely call my Dr and tell him about it. If you start feeling light headed at all, you should definitely go to the ER.

((hugs))

Jessica,
Did you decide what to do yet? I hope it slowed down! My m/c bleeding was lighter but longer than a period, so totally different. If I had bled like you're talking aobut, I would have called the doc immediately. There could be tissue that isn't breaking loose in there, and it can cause lots of trouble.
Hugs!
Sheri

First, I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is so hard.
When I mc, I bled for 3 wks. It was horrible, all the reminders. I had lots of clots, but they did decrease, not increase. I would put a pad on and then see how fast you fill that... since that is what the doc's go by. Are you feeling weak or light headed at all? Definitely call your doc... at least. Or just go to the ER. I would think things should be tapering off now. Please keep us posted.

Well I waited it out... I'm totaly confused though... It was so heavy on saturday then it STOPED in the evening and then overnight it came back HEAVY and then yesterday NOTHING... So we will see... I didnt feel light headed or weak or anything so I decided not to go to the ER or call the doc. If it comes back heavy again today I'm calling my Dr ASAP. I'm hoping it was just a grand finale and now its gone for good! We will see. Thank you to everyone for your support!!! I wish no one of had to have this experience! ((((HUGS)))

I only bled for five days, but I was pretty early. Heavy bleeding at first but it gradually got lighter. I'm sorry for your loss.
