Default Natural Methods of Healing the Skin???

Does anyone know of natural methods of preventing cystic acne? I fear that I may need to stop taking the Pill; when I go off of it, my skin goes haywire. I've read Kevin Trudeau's book on natural cures and will try some of the methods that he mentions. Still, I'm very scared to remain on the Seasonale (as I'm experiencing some odd chest pressure/ soreness), but I'm also scared to go Pill-less.

If anyone has a natural treatment (be it a form of Vitamin B, Evening Primrose Oil, colonics, whatever) that has helped, I'm willing to hear it.

Thanks,

Jenk

Some natural options you might want to try: 1) low carb diet, 2) B vitamins & zinc, 3) saw palmetto, 4) tea tree oil (as a topical treatment).

definately cut out sugar, yeast, dairy and get stuff to support your liver so that it can get rid of toxins..
dry skin brushing will help get rid of them too.

lavender oil works a treat for me. u can use it undiluted, unlike most essential oils. unless you have super sensitive skin. it reduces redness and promotes healing. i put it on before bed and usually when i wake up my pimples are less inflamed and feel a lot better.

i use seaweed masks - go to www.aalgo.com and see what you think. i'd say dont stress too much about what you eat - try to just eat a balanced diet, exercise, wash your face every morning and every night before bed - i use cidal soap and a Simple rich moituriser. taking the supplement vitex might be a good idea - i have just started taking this, evening primrose oil should also help
good luck!

Honestly, what helps me the most is this strange toner made from apple cider vinegar and distilled water. I use a 50/50 dilution of each, but many people start out slower with only a third vinegar to water ratio. If things are looking really grim, I'll add two aspirins to my eight ounce bottle of the stuff. If I use it twice daily this keeps me pretty much clear, and I have the kind of cystic acne even two rounds of Accutane didn't touch. If you do an internet search on "vinegar toner" you'll find a lot of sites talking about it.

Yes it stinks, but it won't linger on your face and make you smell. I promise. I rinse my hair with the stuff and have even started drinking it. I'm a vinegar freak!

I take Seasonale also and I'm surprised you've stayed clear on it actually. The type of progesterone it contains has the most androgens of any BCPs, which can wreak havoc on one's skin. Who knows... maybe your skin will be clearer without it?

Hope you find something that helps!
