Default natural progesterone?

Newly diagnosed- just yesterday, as a matter of fact.

Soemone has told me that natural progesterone (cream) will be of help in getting my cycle regular again and getting my hormones in balance.

Does anyone else use natural progesterone?

TIA-

I think everyone has to try to find what works best for them. I use natural progesterone (or wild yam) cream. I haven't got a peiod from using it, but I don't suffer from the severe drepression I used to, and it has made my skin break out much less often. I definately recomend it. But you need to make sure you get it from a good place. I get mine from Nature's Sunshine-a very good company. I would highly recommend it from there. To get my cycle back in balance, I started low carbing and all around eating much more healthy, lots of fresh vegi's ect. The South Beach Diet is like a healthy version of the atkins and has helped me a lot. For the first time in my life, I got my period 6 months in a row and knew to the day when I was getting it. Pretty amazing to me. Their may be other diets out there, but that is what I try to follow.

Does the cream help in any way with the cysts and ovulation?
I've been thinking about trying it.

And can you use it while ttc?

I have noticed that I feel like I've been ovulating (don't have the proof though), getting pains ect. I don't have bad cysts so I don't about that. But I'm also low-carbing, so the ovulation could be jump started by that. You can use it if you are trying to conceive, in fact that is why I'm taking it, or was until I started Clomid. But if you are taking other hormones, I wouldn't use it. You don't want to double up. One thing that I read was using it the first 6 months of you pregnancy can help prevent miscarriage if you have had problems with that before. How long have you been ttc?
