Default Natural Progesterone cream..anyone?

I'm trying to get pregnant I'm taking clomid and I heard in another forum that using Natural Progesterone Cream can help you get pregnant & avoid miscarring.
Any suggestions on brand names or whether they have worked for you..thank you

Sc4020 you can use it to jump start your next cycle. I'd just start for 14 days then stop. you can then start trying again with the new cycle. If your trying for natural bfp I would start npc 3dpo until either bfp if no bfp stop and on to next cycle I hope that makes sense. lol

miranda28 npc can help you regulate your own cycle to a degree and will help support preg. and prevent m/c. I was given this one on rec to try AmazonAmazon
HTH both of you!

After doing lots of research on this topic I just ordered Progesterone cream from Puritans Pride. Their cream goes by the name Meno-Ease. I noticed it used to go by Puritans Pride Progesterone Cream but it recently changed names. I found out that it has 480mg of progesterone per ounce. I was going to buy the GNC brand but according to their website their cream only has 5mg of Progesterone per ounce. It has it listed in the ingredients section. Also Puritans Pride has its cream on sale BOGO 4 ounces for 17.99. GNC is 12.49 for 2 ounces. I have to say I have never been disappointed by the quality of Puritans Prides vitamins so I feel pretty confident that I will be happy with their cream. Just wanted to let you guys know since I kind of feel like the GNC brand is a rip off if it really only has 5mg of Progesterone per ounce. I doubt it would be very affective.

Wal-Mart carries Rexall NPC and it also contains 480mg per ounce. It's $12 for a 4oz jar.

I could have kicked myself in the butt today lol. I looked all over the net and went to gnc etc and felt stupid realizing walmart had it lol. I thought I had got a pretty good deal (the 2 for 1 ) Then realize walmarts was even cheaper lol

Has any one tried the one at walmart?

The one Im trying right now is Femgest. It wasnt listed in the "What your doctor wont tell you about menopause/ premenopause book" But its mgs, etc matched up perfect with the book.

So far Im liking it. Cant wait to see the long term results lol

Are you trying to use it for any certain reason? Getting pregnant, balancing hormones after menopause, hysterectomy, or just balancing hormones outa wack?

Ive been using mine for balancing hormones outa wack (between PCO, then a hysterectomy
2 yrs ago). You rub the lotion like cream on 2 times a day (about 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon). Depending on if your trying to get pregnact or balacing cycle to how many days a month. Theres a great book called
"What your doctor may not tell you about menopause" by John R. Lee that goes in to great detail about it from the perks, to how to use it, etc.

The book really isnt all about menopause it goes in to detail about all hormone inbalance, P.C.O, etc. I had got the other one about premenopause {30-40 yr olds}, and actually liked the menopause one better lol

I actually just bought the progesterone cream from GNC, after reading about it on another website. Apparently it's the one recommended by Dr. John Lee. I read that the Walmart brand is not natural progesterone, so I didn't even bother looking for it.

I'm going to try to find the book you all mentioned...I think the info would be very interesting. I still have so much to learn!

I just use the cream twice a day, in different places each time. I'm using it to *attempt* to induce AF since I don't want to take Provera AGAIN. I have also just started Metformin so maybe the combination will work??

I'm hoping that eventually this will all lead to ovulation.

Wal-Mart does carry NPC that is natural here in the Northeast. It is not made by them or any of their subsidiaries. I used 1/2 tsp from cycle day 14 -26 for 8 months and my cycle regulated. Good luck.

I was kinda caggie about the couple GNC had. One was really expensive + didnt list any mg's at all, then the one that was in the book was so so high. I kinda shopped around and came upon the walmart one later.

The one I had gotten at the time at GNC was a buy one get one free bundle for $19 or so {normally like 25}, and the one at wal-mart was a 4 oz bottle (= 2 bottles) for $12 bucks lol.
One of those why didnt I go there first moments lol. I'll remember on refill time lol.

GNC - Femgest Progesterone Cream 2oz jar = 480 mg per oz {natural}
{two 2 oz jars one box}

Walmart - Rexall - Progesterone Cream 4 oz = 480 mg per oz {natural}
{1 big jar = 2 jars}

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I've been using the Puritan's Pride Progesterone cream for 12 days and I've seen some nice changes. I have no more pelvic pain. I have a lot more energy and no more insomnia. And I actually have a sex drive! So even if this doesn't help me to concieve I will definitely keep using it.
