Default Natural Progesterone (Dioscorea Cream) and Breast Growth?

Hi everyone. I am new to the PCOS forums but rather than posting in the Newbie section, I had a question I figured I would bring here instead...

I am 17 years old and on my way to being diagnosed with PCOS, though my naturopath is "95% sure" I have it. I am scheduling a pelvic ultrasound to check for cysts and I am going for some blood work (blood sugar levels and insulin resistance testing). In the meantime, she has prescribed me Genestra's Dioscorea Cream (Natural Progesterone). Fertility is her specialty and she is keen on high-quality supplements, etc; so I am confident that what she has given me is safe and effective.

However, I have one question that I wanted to ask the SoulCysters community. Because I am 17 and have had PCOS since puberty, maybe insulin resistance even before then, breast growth has been stunted. I am wondering if I will experience any breast growth while taking the progesterone cream; theoretically speaking, should I? She mentioned other possible alternatives such as herbs and whatnot - will these help to encourage breast development? I guess I am almost asking if I can ever expect my breasts to complete their intended amount of growth. I realize many of you are no longer in your teen years, but I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much!

Hi,
I alos use genestra and so far didnt do nothing for me.my Af is late and I had to take progesterone pills to bring it on.
I didnt experince any growth tho.my progesterone levels are very low at 16 with saliva test and even after I used genestra it didnt rise at all still at 1.with blood test.
I think it would work for someone with close to nromal progesterone levels.try it for couple of months see if you get your period on time.

I don't think NPS aids breast growth. On the other hand estrogen creams do. If u look at the breast enhancing products on the market almost all of them have Phytoestrogens. I am currently nursing my bub and took fenugreek for milk production. I could see increase in breast size and fenugreek is packed with phyto estrogens.

I also had hyposplastic breasts b/c PCOS undiagnosed as a teen. I have a an article where a woamn struggled to BF her first child, then when she took progesterone for the next she soley BF'd the next one. I am going to try and take it for breast gland growth my next pregnancy. I haven't read the article in a while but apparently that is how it works...b/c people with tuberous or hyposplatics breats have insufficient glands so are physically unable to solefy BF depending on severity. I always had to top up. I work on a maternity unit and you would be surprise d(or not) how many LCs and nurses and docs have even less clue what tuberous breats are and how they relate to BF'ing even less then they know about PCOS! Scary and a pain to deal with. I can share the article if you want it.
