Default Natural Progesterone experts - I need your help!

Ok, I'm taking the plunge and going to buy some npc! I'm in the Uk and it's not readily available and I have to buy it online, I have posted the links to 4 sites selling it below. Could you be kind enough to have a look and advise me on which one sounds best and that I should go for?

Thanks in advance - this is all so confusing!

Hi - personally I'd go with one with a higher percentage of progesterone per oz/mg like Serenity or Natpro. I've heard some good reviews about Natpro, but haven't used it myself. I've used Serenity from www.progesterone.org.uk as they have it in a pump jar so no measuring which worked at bringing on AF and I O'd after using it (I did try the Serenity from http://www.progesterone.co.uk/ which you have stated above, but I found this different from the other website and it didn't work for me...not sure why though as supposed to be the same cream).

1) I like the ingredients listed in this one.
2) They list Evening Primrose Oil - which if I'm not mistaken, has some estrogenic properties...
3/4) Didn't seem to list any ingredients and I'm not a fan of "mystery" mixtures - perhaps I missed it.

So I like Number 1!

I have a question for all you experts too. Not sure if I should have started another thread but here it is...

I started NPC on September 26th for 14 days, then stopped for 12 (I thought i was supposed to stop for 14, but on the 12th day I read on another thread to only stop for 7) so I started it again on October 22nd... and today will be my 14th/last day.
I've had off and on cramping and PMS symptoms for months before I started the NPC (no AF for over 2 years) but no AF with the NPC either. If there's no AF this time should i be starting it again in 7 days? and just continue that cycle for a few months to see if it works for me?
I was thinking of giving it about 3-4 months. Should I try it for longer than that? Also, is there anything i can add to this regeim that might help bring on AF?
(i'm also on the insullin resistance diet- minus a couple slip up meals and doing elliptical 40 mins ever 2nd day, as well as volleyball for 2 1/2 hours a week)

Any advice would be much appreciated. I don't want to give up on the NPC just yet!

Hi - I wouldn't worry about only restarting it after 12 days, usually if no AF then it's restarted after 7 - 10 days, but some ladies wait 14. When I first tried it I used it 2 times 14 on 14 off 14 on again and still didn't get AF. I then tried a different cream and 14 days on 10 days off (when I actually O'd so waited till 4 dpo to make sure I did) and 14 days on again to finally get AF after 10 months (AF arrived on day 12 so didn't finish the full 14 days in the end). I've also read it can take 3 - 4 months of use to see any difference, so worth it to keep going. Maybe keep going with the 14 days on 7 days off and see how it goes.

There is a lady on another thread in a similar situation - no AF for 2 years and she persevered with NPC for 4/5 times until eventually AF arrived, so it looks like it can take some people a bit of getting used to especially if you haven't had AF for a while.

HTH and the NPC works for you soon

Snow,
Thanks for the quick reply, but now i think I have a new problem. last night was day 14 of the NPC but i got really crampy around dinner time, more so than usual. Probably way TMI but I inserted a Q-tip and it looked like AF was on the way. Also was on 3rd day of really bad headache. Since i thought AF was coming I skipped the NPC, took 2 advil and went to bed. I got up around midnight and the cramping wasn't nearly as bad, and now NO sign of AF coming, so i panicked and applied the 14th day of NPC but by then it was midnight.
Now this morning, mild cramping, no headache and no AF.

I don't know what's happening now, but if AF comes in the next week, when would i start the NPC again? I thought i read day 12-26 but now I can't find it.

leafsgirl - don't worry if you missed the last dose it won't make a difference. Usually you would keep using the cream until you start AF in full flow, but it doesn't matter if you stopped before the last dose as some ladies will use it for less days than 14 and still get AF after stopping.

When you do get AF, you will start reusing the cream either after 3dpo of confirmed ovulation if you're ttc or if you're not ttc then you can start using it either from 12 -26 or 14 - 28. I would probably use it from day 14 for 14 days so 14 days on 14 days off to simulate a 28 day cycle, but you may want to go from 12 - 26 to shorten the cycle if AF doesn't start while you're using the cream or shortly after you stop using it.

Hope that makes sense
