Did anyone noticed that once their hormones started to balance and they become healthy they changed from apple to hourglass or pear, assuming that you were an apple before...
I really hate my body shape, my estrogen levels are low and my testrone is elevated..
This is the diet and treatment with herbs I plan to follow, do you think I can change it..
i had an hourglass shape before the pcos kicked in. as my weight crept up, it became more apple shaped. now that i am losing again (through gastric bypass), it seems like i am losing everywhere except my lower abdomen. so i'm somewhere between an apple/hourglass. hth.
your diet plans looks pretty healthy!

The diet plan looks great. When losing weight, I tend to go a little more extreme- no soy products, no grains at all, since I don't believe they are necessary (Neanderthin sort of philosophy) but it is 200% better than what most people eat!
Especially the whole milk. Skim milk is unnatural and a sugar hit in your bloodstream! Read about cream top (unhomogenized) if you get the time.
As for the body shape, anything that corrects our hormones will encourage fat deposition in the 'correct' female places, right? I always lose belly fat when I cut processed foods. Butt never shrinks. The hourglass gets more pronounced.

I have had an hourglass shape since I was a teen. Still have severe pco symptoms with hair, acne, irregular cycles and so on. Weight gain is the only thing I've been able to avoid.

Strangely enough, I was an insane tea drinker. Someone told me to switch my tea to green tea, and I discoverd a waist I havent seen since middle school. I'm still fairly apple shaped, but I'm working on it
