Is anyone else considering going back to prescrition meds to control PCOS symptoms because after trying alternative remedies for a fair amount of time, they find that it's just too expensive for the number and amount of supplements required to control the symptoms?
I've recently revisited my budget and i spend a phenomenal amount of money on alternative remedies. I had some success with them but because the prescrips. are covered by my health plan at work, i'm thinking that i may have to resort back to that route because of the cost.....
i'm very torn as i would love to continue with the natural remedies, but they really are breaking my bank....
I wish natural remedies would be covered on our insurance..

I used progestrone cream (spelling?). It is natural and it is about $12.00 a bottle. You use it twice a day for 14 days. AF comes like clockwork. I have tried a lot of other natural ways but this is the only thing that really helped me

I take a lot of things each day. But I give a lot of credit to the remedies that I took for playing a large part in me having my sweet baby now. They are expensive, but we've fit them in. Now that I'm nursing, what I'm taking is still very important, both for myself, and my son. So I buy what I need. Thankfully I seldom run out of a lot of things at once.

I justify the cost of the natural remedies/supplements as they are natural, and not some chemical recipe created in a lab.
I think the expense is worth it, and I don't have any side effects either.
