Just curious. How many of you have been thin all of your lives and how many are thin because you watch everything you eat?
I am of the latter. Since my teens I have been anywhere from 10 to 30 lbs. overweight. I'm currently where I want to be (4'10, btw 104-107 lbs.) because I follow the Weight Watcher's maintenance plan very strictly. I write down everything I eat and follow "points" religiously.
I wouldn't say that I "work at it" but I am a vegetarian and don't eat much junk food (besides the occasional pint of Ben and Jerry's!!!). I also go to the gym a few times a week for kick boxing class or running on the treadmill.
I think I'm going to give a low-carb diet a try, though. I wonder if it will help lessen hair growth or help regulate my periods....

2nd round Clomid 50 mg worked!
I am pregnant! EDD 1/12/03
(Thincyster, no IR)
I've always been very slim. I put on a little weight while taking BCP but I lost it after I came off BCP and started taking regular exercise.
Its because of my weight that DR thinks I'm definitly not IR but I don't agree.

I've always been thin, or rather in the normal range. My weight has been within five pounds, up and down depending on what time in my cycle, for the last ten years. I work out about three times a week as well and am on my feet all day too.

I have never had to worry about my weight. I am 5'5" tall. I was 117 lbs when I graduated from high school, I have been as high as 128 lbs (on the BCP), and am about 120 lbs now.
I definitely have a little round belly though...it's not terribly obvious when I am fully dressed. I always wonder if it is "normal," but I find it wierd. It doesn't really bother me, I just find it strange. Now the excess hair on the other hand...
I've always been thin. I used to be 96lbs. at 5'4". The highest I've been is 115 and I'm now at 105 after having a baby 9 mths ago. I gained about 36lbs for that. I have an active job and just started working out regularly but have always eaten well.
I alwas have to watch what I eat, but even when I have had times where I eat a lot, junk food and sugar, I have never been fat, just some kg +. But i am very afraid that I will gain weight, so I try to work out a lot

It's a constant battle, always have been up and down, but have maintained my current weight for quite some time now. Iam tiny on the top but am very slightly bigger on my thighs, classic English pair, but still fairly slim, 5"6 and 112Ibs. Although I think being girls we will always worry and naturally think that if we look at fatty foods we will put the weight on, it's a bit of a mind game for me....

I've stayed fairly thin without much thought about it. I do eat well. I eat a high fiber diet. I eat what I feel like but I only eat until full. I eat a lot of fruits/veggies and I try to exercise 3x a week. Everyone in my family is fairly small.

I've always been thin. 5'5" and 120 lbs. now. As high as 128 when my diet was extremely high carb. Better diet keeps me feeling much better and can keep a better weight. I still have a little pot belly though and a thick waist (I'm not very curvy, boyish shape).
I've pretty much always been thin, except for one period (age 17-19) when I went on a really strong bcp. Apart from that I've stayed within 10lb of 105 at 5'4" (down as well as up!).
I have been vegetarian for 14 years but apart from those restrictions I eat what I like. I played sport (netball, touch football, competitive swimming) when I was a kid, and have always been active - now I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, bushwalk, swim and jetski on weekends, and I have a very active dog who loves to walk and swim. I have a demanding, challenging job so exercise is also my stress release.
I've always been thin -- I did gain the freshmen 15 during my first year of college--but that can be attributed to dorm food, pizza and inactivity. 5' 4" and never more than 128, I'm currently 106. And like jmp, i have the round belly, but I think it's due to bad digestive bloating and i've just started a treatment program to reset my digestive system to a healthier balance.
I've always been quite thin. I'm 168 cm (about 5'7 ?) and have never been over 120lbs. Although I usually judge by my pant size.
I come from a family of thin people that eat healthy, and consume very little junk food. I am currently low carbing in order to avoid PCOS related obesity and its medical side effects. Hopefully it will also help with TTC.
