Unhappy Nausea- possible TMI!

I am not sure if anyone else is having this, but I have chronic, daily nausea. I want to know if anyone else has this, or knows what a possible cause for it is. I have been researching it for the past two months and it seems like nausea is the symptom for very few but serious diseases.
I can give a little background and I posted a rant about this a week ago. I have been nauseated since I got a UTI almost three months ago. They treated the UTI, and I don't have any other infections. I have had blood tests, CT's, Ultrasounds and even (way TMI here!!!) Fecal tests. I have gotten meds for the nausea which I take almost daily (for three months now). I eat ginger constantly, as well. I have a doctor's appointment later this week with my doctor for another recheck.. Oh, and I am not pregnant, 4 tests have proven that. I am also not dizzy when I move around, or have trouble getting up.
I have gotten some great advice from the ladies here. I was wondering if anyone else has ideas. I am lost, sick, and really tired of being sick/throwing up, atleast I don't throw up often. (I am also reluctant to go to Urgent Care or ER, because they tell you the same thing, "here are the meds you have, go home and sleep" I can't sleep forever!)
I am also waiting for the gastro doctor here to call me back with an appointment date this week as well.

I don't know what could be the cause, but I wanted to tell you I'm sorry you feel sick all the time. It must be just awful. I hope it gets better soon.

Wyster- I don't want to freak you out, but if you were to be pregnant, it would be atubal pregnancy, and I don't think an HPT would pick up on that. You might want to get ablood test for that just to be sure. I'm sorry you have to feel sick. Ihate feeling sick.

Just throwing out ideas for you:

You've probably already been tested for it, but have they tested for asthma or other lung conditions? That is how I found out I had asthma, I was getting sick to my stomach all the time. I guess the mucous from my lungs was going into my stomach and making me sick. Yuck.

Are you taking any perscriptions or OTC medications on a regular basis? Have you ruled those out? Even if you've been taking medications for a while sometimes they can all of a sudden cause problems. Maybe an adverse reaction to the UTI medication? Have you ever had a UTI before or was that the first time? Is that the same as a bladder infection?

Food allergies or intolerance?

Do you wear glasses, have you had your eyes checked recently? If your vision changes that can cause nausea.

If it's nothing else, maybe it's neurological. A friend of mine had a problem where she would throw up every time she ate, no matter what it was. Turns out it was some sort of regurgitation reflex thing that her body started doing, and she had to somehow relearn how to eat without the reflex thing kicking in. However, I do not know if she was nauseous all the time.

Thank you for the support and ideas!
Eva- I am hoping they will test all my hormones and such next time I go into the doctor, I am going to ask for it.
Roonie- Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.
Short'n'bubbly- I had the tests- blood and the 4 urine done at the doctors office. But you did scare me until I really thought/read about it. Thank you for that idea. I will certainly think about that possibility from here on out!
Ophelia- you certainly gave me some serious ideas to run by my doctor! I have had several UTI's(urinary tract infections), whis one was a kidney infection, and I haven't ever had a reaction to the other antibiotics they gave me this time (I am allergic to everything but those antibiotics) and I am due for an eye appointment, although I am not having trouble seeing, who knows?
I am also thinking of going back to see my neurologist for this, just to see. Doctors can't always know everything, especially if they don't specialize in it.
Thanks so much guys! I really appreciate all of the suggestions/ideas. I am going to go pester my doctor!

Hi. You had pm'd me and I wrote back, but I wanted to tell you that a couple of years ago I developed a psuedo tumor cerebri, which is basically a false tumor. I had swelling around my optical nerves and it caused all the symptoms of a tumor. I had dizziness, nausea, blurry vision, black dots and such. Have you had any of the other symptoms besides nausea that I listed? If gastro isn't showing anything, then I would definitely get your eyes checked and possibly see a neurologists. Also, have the doctors ruled out endometriosis or any other female issues like that? I hope you find out what it is soon. Keep us posted.

Have they checked your gallbladder? I was sick feeling all the time and just down right queasy (sp?). They found out I had gallstones and then took the gallbladder out. now I have only been ill feeling like that like twice since January.

Also have they checked you sinus? I also have allergy/ asthma problems and (TMI) my sinus system drains really bad down my throat into my tummy and can cause me to feel ill too.

HTH

Oh yeah thought of something else.. Ear infection or trouble. My cousin had a inner ear thing going on ans she felt fine till she got in the car and bam she threw up everywhere. Just a motion caused nasty feeling.

Thanks so much! I have a couple of MORE things to talk to the doctor about. I have a written list with the tests I am requesting and ideas I have to run by her. I like my doctor, she is open to ideas and will honestly admit it if she isn't sure about something.. or she will go look it up!
Anyways, I will keep you guys posted after the appointment.. which they called today and moved back to monday.. someone at the office double booked me? urrrrrgggghhh I hate the office she works at, but she is wonderful.
