I am now up to 1000mg of glucophage XR and I have been feeling some nausea today. Is a side effect of the glucophage XR?

I took 500 from Friday March 5 to Thrusday March 11. About five days after starting I had odd butterfly feelings under my belly button. Then for a few days I was just sore (everything under my ribs). I don't know if this has something to do witht he Gluc XR or not. (I am in the 2ww)
On Friday March 12 I upped my dose to 1000 mg. Today I had a head ache and the nausea. Right now I just have this odd feeling in my stomach. Not like I'm going to vomit or anything, just an odd feeling.
Yes, this is really common, sadly. But it does seem to subside over time for most ladies. Are you taking your meds with milk or food? It really makes all the difference for me. Good luck!

I was nauseated pretty much the whole time I was on Glucophage XR, but I knew to get to the goal that I was trying for, that I would need to be on it.
