Default Nauseated on Wellbutrin SR

As you can see from my sig, I just started taking Wellbutrin SR on Thursday night. I'm only taking 150mg and am supposed to go up to 300mg after a week. Well, yesterday (Sunday) I woke up feeling very nauseated. I was fasting for church, so I didn't eat anything until dinner. By about noon the nausea was mostly gone and I just felt hungry. About 30-45 min. after I ate dinner, though, the nausea came back, but much worse. I just laid on the sofa the rest of the evening. I had trouble sleeping and woke up this morning only slightly nauseated, but thinking about breakfast made me feel worse. Actually eating breakfast (one English muffin) made me feel a lot worse. So I sayed home from work and went back to bed. Now I'm feeling a lot better, but the only thing I've eaten since breakfast is a Slim-Fast which doesn't seem to have upset my stomach (yet).

My question is whether anyone else has had this problem when they started Wellbutrin. I did a HPT yesterday and it was negative. The reason I'm so confused is that I took Wellbutrin SR in the past and didn't get sick at all. When I took it before I was on BCP and this time I'm on Glucophage XR. I haven't felt sick on the Gluc alone, only when I started taking the Wellbutrin. Does anyone have any advice for me? Should I stick it out or ask for a different antidepressant? The reason we chose Wellbutrin in the first place was because it's the safest during pregnancy, and since I'm not preventing, I could conceivably get pregnanat (but I guess I have to O first ). Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't think I take the Wellbutrin SR - I think I just take the regular wellbutrin -but who knows. Anyways, I started the well before the met and of course had the normal side effects when starting the met but haven't had anything that I thought was due to the well. When I did start wellbutrin - the first week I didn't feel well at all - I think it made me really anxious - could that be part of your nausea? I really like Wellbutrin and would recommend hanging in there for the 3 weeks they tell you to give it to get into your system. Good luck!
