I have been on Yasmin for 12 days.I started 2 days after getting AF from prometrium after not having it for 5 months.Q is,I am still bleeding.Had the heavy,then it lightened up and now its annoying brown discharge.You know what I mean.Do i double up to stop it?Then what?Thanks!!

It's probably just a result of you not having AF for a while. The first AF after several months is usually very heavy and/or includes brown discharge, to clean out all the stuff that's been backed up. You should probably see if it stops in another week or so before you worry.

Hang in there! The Yaz made me really sick for about two months on top of the spotting! It took a few cycles to get me straightened out, but it was worth hanging in there. I wouldn't double up, you're likely to make it worse. Good luck Hon!
