Exclamation Need advice....What to do now?

I am at a dead end and frusterated. Need help!
I have always had irregular periods.. so they put on BC 10 yrs ago. I got engaged and will be getting married in the spring and I've had numbness in my legs. So I decided it was time to quit my BC back in Nov. I was working a lot and it was x-mas time. I was utterly exhausted. Then in the spring I had finals and we moved in together and so I just figured I was stressed out. In May I thought I had UTI for the first time. So our first night in our place I was on the floor in so much pain on upper right side. No My lower abdominal area. So they treated me for a Kidney infection. Although the urine sample and blood work didn't say otherwise. So they said I don't know so I came back for a week everyday and they still didn't know. It was like someone was stabbing me.
So I went back to my Dr. still with the pain in my side. They did an ultrasound thinking it was my gallbladder and my ovaries are larger than Uterus. So they sent me to a new gyno. He's a jerk! His response was your fat you need to loose weight. At this point I had changed my diet to being very healthy and I was running everyday. I told him that he just said no.. you actually have to try. You aren't trying obviously. I was so upset and frusterated. I had been bleeding heavily since I was in the hospital in May. His only option he gave me was going back on the BC, even though we are TTC. He didn't think the pain I had was anything to do with my ovaries and he printed the paper off the computer and just said yeah you probably have PCOS. He just said don't worry about it. So I went back to my normal Dr. and had time to read about PCOS. I wanted treatment and to find out more about my PCOS. I was still having the pain still bleeding. So I went for a CT scan.. nothing. In this time frame of 2 weeks, I was fainting, dizzy, not eating, sleeping and having more pain. so my Dr thought I was having heart problems. So I had to wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks and the odd thing is no one will tell me the results. So they sent me for a HIDA scan of my gallbladder. Mind you I thought I was pregnant for a while because I was waking up every hour to pee and lower pain this time. So I am noticing the hair growth now and the hormone changes. Last night I had untolerable pain in my lower abdominal area in the middle I couldn't stand it. I was here alone, my soon to be hubby is out of town and I woke up on the floor, I fainted and I was completely covered in blood from the waist down. My mom took me to the ER while we were waiting to be seen I felt shaky and like I had to pee bad but I was afraid I wasn't going to make it with the pain. So I go and I passed 12 or so huge baseball size blood clots. I came back from the rest room feeling better. Not 100% but yeah.. we get in and they are like okay why are you here? I don't think any of them believed me. They had to give me a cathiedure to do a urine sample because I was bleeding so heavily though. My urine has blood in it too. They didn't want to give me any pain medicine. The nurse looked at my file and said well you've been complaining pain for a while now and everything is fine all your blood work and everything so we aren't giving you pain med. Like I was just there for the pain meds. They kept asking me are you sure you didn't do any drugs? Uh yeah.. hello help me? So they discharged me with cramps. The nurse told me not to waist their time. So I called to make an appointment today with the gyno, I don't like and he just said I was having my period.. and he would send out a Rx to increase my BC. I was so upset at this point.. I said no.. I need help! and I hung up on him. He doesn't listen and no one seems to want to help me. I am still bleeding through about 6 tampons an hour. I'm home from work..cause I bleed through everything, and I still have the pain.. even stronger today. I made an appointment with a new Gyno tomorrow outside of my network since I don't have insurance,( i'm on aid) and she better be more understanding and willing to help or i'm going to throw a fit! I already have Dr. bills that are around $8,ooo after aid. I work in a natural living store though and I am taking, Vitamin A,C,E, and Selenium to help with things.. I'm sorry this is so long. I didn't mean for it to be. :/ I just haven't found anyone yet who has felt the same way I do.. and Same symptoms. So I appreciate you listening.. if you read this!

Hi There. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. My symptoms are not the same so I can't help there, but I know of others who've had similar. I really hope your new dr will listen to you. You'll be in my thoughts.

It's a crime that doctors treat people this way That amount of blood loss can NOT be healthy. I don't have any advice, unfortunately, but that's awesome that you're going to see a different doctor. I really hope this one listens to you!!

Thank you. I don't think anyone has listened or remotely cared since this has started. It feels good have people care. My soon to be husband cares, but he is just finally starting to understand the extent of what i've been tellinng him. Like my family hasn't really cared. I hope this dr. helps. My step mother works for a obgyn and so at least maybe if she knows my family she will take it a little more seriously. I just am so sick of being in the IHC (medical clinics) system and Dr's just open and my chart and read it to me after one Dr didn't care. So I choose and out of network Dr so she would have to make her own assumptions.

Have U Been Checked For Diabetes? Also Have You Had A Transvaginal Ultrasound To See If U Do Have A Cyst In Your Ovary. I Get Headaches That Feel Like My Head Is In A Vice. It Is A Crushing Pain. I Would Ask My Dr. For An Ultrasound. Blood Tests Are Not Going To Show Anything More Than If U Are Anemic Or Have An Infection. That Is About All They Are Looking For. The Fact That U Are Passing That Many Clots Sounds To Me Like Endometriosis. Have U Had An Abnormal Papsmear? Hope This Helps.

My ultrasound came back my ovaries were enlarged. but the ct scan and everything else they have done is normal. I honestly to god think I am insulin resitant! I have been fainting and having heart issues as well.. and they don't find anything. my blood work comes back normal

Default My story is scarily similar

My experience draws many parrallels to yours only instead of repeatedly asking if I were on drugs they choose one of the following....your crazy and depressed, your using this as a way to deal with you assault ( I was raped five years ago, the two are not related and I have worked through that) or your just an overacheiver looking for a break. I totally get where your coming from. I just came back from another emergency room visit and for obvious reasons cant sleep. I just don't knwo what to do anymore this whole thing feels like it is killing me my family and my fiance.

this sounds so terrible! SOMEONE needs to help you here. i cant beleive drs can be so dismissive. DONT GIVE UP on it! there is obviously something happening, someone will find it soon enough and you can rest easy.
have you had a GTT done to check for IR or anything if you think that you are?
and more importantly, are you taking anything to suppliment the excessive bloodloss? iron treatment of some sort?you will end up with terrible aneamia if its untreated, this would be the cause of yout feeling faint and heart troubles.i suffer from iron deiciency aneamia, and i did the heart monitor test as well, because i get terrible palpitations on and off throughout the day they are all due to the chronic aneamia.
there are alot of tell tale signs outside of faintng and heart issues that can tell you if you are very low on iron.
and for the IR there are plenty of alterntive treatments on this forum if you cant find a dr to help out.
i hope you get some answers soon though!

Yeah.. lately i'm depressed, I just got engaged and to find out I may not be able to have children is kind of a heartbreak but my future Husband is been my stone. I have been put back on BC and the bleeding doesn't stop. So she put me on Provera but I don't think its going to stop. I don't even know if its my damn period. I have pain the goes from my heart, being palpations, to my upper and lower abdominal area to my back that feels like someone is stabbing me.. I can point out the pain and it feels hard as rock. My legs hurt.. I mean come on people.. no one seems to be getting it. I told me dr.. either from the bleeding or being so tired I am barley making it. If I do go to work I get up and don't do much with myself and go there and come home and eat and go right ot bed. I'm not sleeping anymore. I have no sex drive. Sex is way to painful. Feels like someone is crushing my insides. Somedays i'm not having a BM. I don't know.. what to do anymore. My husband is out of town for work with my inlaws.. so I am here alone.. I found myself last month. I had fainted in the living room and i woke up covered in blood. No one finds that odd. Maybe i'm just loosing my mind. Oh yeah.. I work at a health food store.. So I am good on the suppliments. The lady at the lab laughed when she saw my iron.. it was really high. I eat healthy.. I exercise.. I take vitamins.. I cleanse.. I am taking selenium.. and other natural herbs to help. I just feel so bloated and inflammed.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Bleeding and pain that serious needs to be investigated. I don't want to scare you but when my friend bled like that for weeks they tested her for cancer. I'm not saying you have cancer but something is obviously up. You could also be a major candidate for endometriosis. Or an ovarian cyst.

You deserve the best. If I were you I would go to the doctor and demand to be tested for these things. I would also not be afraid to state that discriminating against someone for their size could lead to a litigious action!

You are not crazy. You are ill. You deserve the best treatment. The BC pill ain't gonna fix it. You need a diagnosis. At the very least you need empathy.

I wish I could go with you and do the talking. I have been screwed over by many docs when I was first dx with PCOS; so I am very vocal about my needs now .

I Forgot Earilier In The Week To Post This. How Long After Your Period Do U Have Chest Pains? You May Have Very Low Estadiol Which Will Trigger Heart Pains And Heart Attacks. They Have A Hormonal Patch That U Can Take That Will Settle Those Attacks Down. Have Your Hormones Checked By An Endocrinologist. The Hormone Is A Birth Control Pill. I Have Them Also From Time To Time. I Believe This Is Due To High Cholesterol Though. I Hope This Helps.
