Angry Need advice, yellow discharge

I'm having some vaginal discharge that is light yellow mucus, blobby or stringy at times. It just plops out onto the pantiliner, or when I get up from the toilet. The rest of the time it's just normal clear discharge. My period is more than a week overdue, and I was treated for a yeast infection about 2 weeks ago (due to antibiotic use), but that was mainly on the skin outside the vagina and had no real discharge like you'd expect. I can't imagine there's much left to cause infection. Any ideas?

I often get yellow discharge on either end of a period. I've heard that yellow discharge can sometimes be caused by very, very, very light bleeding.

I had this happen when I thought I was over a YI and AF was due. The next month, about a week after AF ended I got the YI again. It could be some left over in your system. You may want to call your dr to get checked out again.

Oh yeah... And I got mine while I was coming off of BCPs and taking Antibiotics as well.

I've had this for some time and never thought anything about it until recently during a urine test the nurse was concerned when she saw it. We called my gyno doc and they said that is was "hormone strings".
