Angry Need Advise...

Hi ladies,

I need help with my HORRIBLE MOOD SWINGS!!! I have been such a you know what for so long. I get angry when I am angry (if that makes any sense). I take it out on those I love... Very ashamed to admit that.

I do not know what to do. When I get mad it takes over my whole body, mind, and soul. It is so hard to calm down. When I was about 20-23 I was such a mellow person.... But after I got pregnant, had my son, then the PCOS went into hyper drive I can not seem to loose the tude. I shake, I feel like I am going to pass out.

What can I do to loose the tude? I feel so bad for everyone. I don't even want to be around myself!!

Does anyone else have this problem? Is this PCOS?

Thanks for reading, I really appreciate your time.

Ugh..I'm 18 and have had that issue since I was like 11..but it only got worse around 16 and now its majorly out of control and I always wondered why I had such horrible mood swings!!

Unfortunally..I dunno what to tell you that would help..I'm still trying to figure it out!

My best advise is to go to the dr. I had them and I felt sorry for DH. Turns out I was depressed. Anyway was on zoloft, didn't like the side effects. Then there was effexor much better. Now I am a free woman. Free from anti-depresants.

i second the telling your doctor.. it's better to tell him/her everything you are dealing with because they will know the best thing specifically for you.. i had horrible mood swings too and my doctor told me how best to deal with them.. originally i took a medicine for pmdd but when we decided to start ttc #1 i went off it.. the mood swings came back.. i found after i can't really say why i don't have them as severe now but i do still have mood swings.. Now i just step back from the situation and take a deep breath.. I think it's easier to deal with because i know i can't let my son see me react that way..

best course of action.. talk to your doctor

Kate

My doctor recommended I take calcium to help with my horrible PMS-y moods.

I just started about 2 weeks ago and I think I feel a bit better.

The research study he talked about gave subjects 1500 mg calcium by supplements each day.

hey Shari

I have these damned mood swings as well, and they have increased over the last year especially, i kinda feel weird as well, i get angry over trivial issues and feel depressed over nothing.... frankly speaking nothings seems to going right with me right now...my doctor says im making it all up....and tat had me feeling sick.....im more withdrawn now, against the once cheerfull soul i was....a friend of mine asked me to try yoga...and im planning to enrole for a couple of sessions...the yoga tutor says the breathing n excersises can help ctrl mood swings...ill let you know if i find any relief at all.....take care till then

That sucks your dr thinks ur making it all up. I hope the yoga works for you. I have mood swings too and just thought I was PMSing... but since I dont for more than half the yr that really couldnt be the reason. Hmm might bring it up to my dr next time I see him.
