Angry Need advise regarding visit to Endo

I was diagnosed with PCOS several years ago and have all the weight gain, facial hair really bad, tired, etc. I have my first appointment in June with an Endo, can someone who has been to one let me know what to expect or what I should ask him for, this is new to me, only been to Gyno and been on birth control pills but this facial hair is taking over my life, pleaseeee

I've never been to a regular endo and only ever had one visit to a reproductive endo several years ago and all she did was give me a scrip for Clomid.
I'm guessing the endo will order more blood tests and ultrasounds to get a better idea of what's going on and discuss your medical history and your signs and symptoms and he will eventually get around to giving scrips for meds to help with the PCOS.

They will talk to you about your medical history and current symptoms. They may or may not do an internal exam. They will probably draw some blood and order a PCOS panel of blood tests. They may do or schedule an ultrasound. They will probably prescribe metformin to get you started. Are you currently ttc? Sadly, the hardest symptoms to control (even with met.) is the facial hair thing. If you are not currently ttc, there are some other meds to help with that. Spironolactone can help with the facial hair issue, but it is not safe while ttc or during pg. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
