I am not sure if you found a doctor or not but Dr. Brown with Duke is great. Her NP is even better, Kathy Pieria. She is very compassionate and takes the time to talk with you. I just moved from NC to Fort Worth, Texas so if anyone can recommend a great doctor, I would appreciate it.
2nd the rec for Dr. Brown's NP Katherine Pereira. I saw Dr. Brown on my first visit but subsequent visits have all been with Pereira...she is very informed and thorough.
I found a miracle worker in Johnson City Tn, I live in Ky and it is about a 3 hour drive for me..... I want you to know that it was soooo worth it. I have a 5 y/o son because of this man. Dr. Samuel Thatcher he is renound in PCOS that is his speciality... Has written many books on PCOS went to Harvard and is a genius and his heart is as big as Tennesee.....lol Ifyou are close enuff to see him I would go in a heartbeat....... You can google him and see just how advances he is. CARS is the name of his office at the hospital..... I hope that I have helped you. I have been diagonised w/ PCOS for about 9 years I have a 5 y/o son........ Do not give up on your dreams there is hope for all of us........ Becky
