I am new to this forum. I've suspected that "something" is wrong with me since high school (about 10 years ago) when I started noticing dark hair on my chin and that is when I started plucking. Anyway, after reading the article in Redbook magazine a year ago I went to my GP and she did run all kinds of tests on me and she detemined that I did not have PCOS, but I think she was wrong. Coincidentally, I had started the Atkins diet last year around the same time, so I think that my test results were skewed. (I read somewhere that you need to con't to eat Carbs b/f testing in order to be accurate) Over the past year I have con't to gain weight, grow even more hair and become more depressed and of course haven't had a period in....well I can't remember, maybe a year?

So I need a good doctor in the Maryland metro Washington DC area.
