Does anyone know of a good doctor who knows about PCOS anywhere in the East Tennessee area? Someone in the general Knoxville area is preferred, but farther away from tht is okay if that is all I can find.

I'm not TTC, have had PCOS forever, have experienced lots of side effects from different bcps, and am desperate to find a doctor who actually has some experience in dealing with patients with PCOS who are not trying to have children. Any suggestions?

Hello! I have a wonderful RE in West Knoxville. He helped me way before I wanted to have Children. His name is Dr Keenan. He is at the new Baptist Hospital for Women. He is a great Dr. He listens and is very caring.

Thanks for the suggestion. I live close to the hospital, so I am aware of where it is because that is where my last doctor was located as well. I'm glad to hear your doctor is so nice. I will look up his info tomorrow.

Just in case he isn't taking new patients or for some reason this doesn't pan out, if anyone has another doctor, I'd be interested in knowing.

Hey Shannon! I used Dr. Michael Doody( I know funny name). He is very knowledgeable(sp). I liked his staff too. He is in the Ft. Sanders West complex over on Kington Pike.
I live out past Oak Ridge. Nice to see cysters close to home. PM me if you need to know more. Good luck!
