in need of Dr in San Diego

Hi all,
I just moved to San Diego and would like to find a GREAT doctor who knows about PCOS. I had an okay dr. at my last home, but some of the medications that others talk about sound like I should be on them also so I'm a little concerned that he wasn't as good as I had originally thought. If anyone knows of someone out here (preferably downtown), I'd be eternally grateful.

I cannot recommend them personally, but I have heard that the reproductive endocrinology group headed by Dr. Chang at UCSD are somewhat well-known for their PCOS research, therefore I assume that they would be informed enough to know about PCOS and hopefully would be able to help you.
Personally, I see the nurse practioner at my family Dr's office since her daughter has it she seems to know more than most medical professionals that I have seen, but I she doesn't seem quite knowledgable enough for me to feel confident enough to recommend her to you.

I am under the care of Dr Chang through UCSD. The UCSD group is AWESOME.

If you want to go to the best you need to get to UCSD and see Dr Chang. He is well known throughout the country for his PCOS research and knowledge.

I don't know the exact address/phone number but if you look up the UCSD Reproductive Endocrinology department, I know that is where you can get in touch with him, he may even be the head of it.
