need encouragement about the vitex thing

Hey gals...

Way frustrated lately. It's been a while since I made a visit. Here's the lowdown. After the third try on clomid, this time for nine months, and no success, I definietly needed a break from the meds, so I started the vitex, chromium, multi, b-complex, etc. Worked better than the meds! My cylcles were all under 35 days, I ovulated by the 16th day each cycle, and my lp went from 11 days back up to 13-14. (clomid was really starting to slip, even with elevated doses, I'd ovulate later each cycle and my lp would get shorter!)

Good so far. Then My husband had to do some heavy traveling this summer, not bad, but it threw my routine for a loop and I ended up missing half my doses of everything. Consequently, I haven't o'ed since june. I'm really frustrated, not only at trying so long to get pregnant ( six years now) but I just want to start with a fresh cycle that isn't a hundred days old! Well, I ran out of vitex and couldn't get any more yet. Just wondering if I should try it again, or is my body immune or something. Someone help! I've got too many babies around me for none of them to be mine!

Why not to try it again? You wrote how good success you had with it, so if you would take start taking again it every day, then probably things will become better again.

this is true. I guess I just worry that if the clomid wasn't as effective any more, than what about this. But, I should be blaming the awkward shcedule and added stress too. I told my husband to pick some up for me this week, So, I'll have to stay in touch with what happens from here.

I keep my fingers crossed that herbs will help you.
Just remember not to take herbs and Vitex at the same time.

do you mean the meds? Yea, I thought about that and had decided already that the clomid was becoming so much less effective, so I was pretty happy when the vitex seemed to be working better. I can't get over one of those nagging feelings in the back of my head that keeps telling me it will work. I guess I was just feeling pessemistic yesterday

Dear JP, always trust your inner voice. We, women, are blessed with very good intuition, so if you have the "fealing" that herbs will work, then they most surtanly will do that.
