I saw an endocrinologist at John's Hopkins that didn't really want to prescribe Metformin. I'm looking for one who believes in the drug and that it can work. Really looking to regulate my cycles without taking birth control.

Did you go to a general endocrine specialist or a reproductive specialist? If you have not seen a reproductive endocrinologist I would try that. I am on metformin, although it hasn't done anything to regulate my cycles and I have to take other medication to ovulate. It may work for you though. Good luck! I see that you want to lose weight. If you have IR it sure does help with that. I lost 60 lbs after I upped my dose of met.

DH SA- Good #, little low on the swimming side
5 cycles of Clomid up to the max-No O
1 round of 2.5mg femara-O'd- BFN
5 rounds 5mg femara-O'd BFN (4 IUI's)
BCP in Nov.-Dec.
Femara/Menopur in Jan +IUI

I have seen an RE and have one that will prescribe me Metformin but she works at Shady Grove fertility and is really only concerned with me getting pregnant. She would want to monitor my cycle while on it and my insurance won't cover visits to her unfortunately

I'm sorry to hear that. The first person to prescribe be met was a GP but she put me on the lowest dose and it didn't do anything for me.
