Default Need to get serious...

I've not been serious bout taking my met for bout a year now :| I'll take it then go off as soon as the side effects start... but I have decided I'm gonna stick it out this time.. I need to for me.. my a1c has gone up to 7.1 and even though my doctor assures me that its not that bad.. its still the point it's gone up... In my defense though I've been on prednisone (steroid) for asthma 5 or 6 times and provera lol and they help raise your blood sugar real good .. Sooo please send me some thoughts or prayers that I can do this.. I guess it stinks too that the doc doubled my dose tooo and that has me discouraged especially when i had a hard time handling the original 1000mg...

Hi...

I was diagnosed a type 2 diabetic last September and have been on Met since December, but I am seriously struggling to control my diet because I am just so unhappy where I live...

I understand I need to be taking this diabetic thing more seriously than ever as it risks my whole health but there seems to be very little support in the UK for it especially from my GP practice...

I need a complete overhaul...
