NEED HELP!! Can't change my siggy pics!

I'm trying to update my siggy pic to a new one and no matter how small I get the pic it comes back saying it is too big. At one point I had it down to 11k (avatar size) and still it said it was too big. I've also tried taking the photo out all together and it still gives me that msg. (It usually gives me two of those messages when I tried to change the pic) I've also refreshed both the sc page when I have resized the pic and the photobucket page to make sure the right info is going to sc.

I don't think my siggy is that big. I have 2 tickers, a picture and a little text. I don't get why I can't change this. I've never had a problem before. Other people have those huge slide show things and I can't get one pic to work!!! Please someone help me!!

I wonder if it's the two tickers that are messing things up. Kat can look at your signature code and let you know if there are a bunch of extra characters in there that may be preventing you from making any changes.

So do you think I should post this on ask kat? I don't want to be a PITA. I just am frustrated because I've seen people with tons of stuff in their siggy and I can't get a picture on anymore

I took a quick look at your code, and it 'seems' to be fine, but even if one letter is off, it can mess up your ability to change your sig.

If you have all of the code saved someplace, I can delete your sig completely, and you can start over.

BTW, yes, your sig is on the 'big' side (it's adorable, but it's big)

I know the pic is big and the pic I'm trying to change it to is much smaller so that is why I'm wondering why I can't get a smaller pic on there. It doesn't make sense to me. Do you think if I take the pic out of the bday ticker that would make a difference? I really don't need that pic in there. I am worried that if I have my siggy deleted and start over I'll be stuck with nothing. I just wonder when I see people with a good size photo, text, and 3 tickers how they are within the limits but I'm not. Also don't those slideshows take up tons of room?? I guess maybe I should change to that since it seems those fit ok. (Not complaining or trying to "tattle" just trying to figure things out)

I will do whatever needs to be done to fix the siggy. My preference is to have it similar to the way it is now but with a smaller pic, but if that is not possible I can leave stuff out or change to a slideshow. I'm just curious about how to change my photo because I've done it before without a problem.

ETA: HMMMM... I seemed to be able to shrink the current pic down but still can't get a different one to work. UGH!!

Some cysters have mentioned in the past about removing the existing photobucket pic and replacing it with one that has the exact same name. Theoretically the new pic should show up. I don't know how well it works, but it's worth a try.
