Need help interpreting insulin values

Hello! I'm having trouble understanding the following lab results I got back today:

Fasting glucose: 97 mg/dl (range: 65-100)
Fasting insulin: 3 uIU/mL (range: 6-27)

I am currently on 2000mg Fortamet per day. Why would my fasting glucose be within normal range, and my fasting insulin level out-of-range? What does this mean? Any help would be much appreciated!
