Yeah, mine breaks out, too, and I've been obsessed with getting the skin clear, since I want a tat back there and refuse to go if I'm broken out!

I use Nutrogena Body Clear body wash in the shower, followed by an acne body spray. I cannot remember the namebrand of the spray--Nature's Cure? Nature's Miracle? Something like that. I found it at the Walmart. If you couldn't find it, you could get a medicated toner with salicyclic acid and put it in a spray bottle, and it would do the job.

Good luck!

try Clinique's Acne solutions body spray. I used it after my pregnancy it works pretty good. Also- i started taking a multi vitamin and that actually cleared alot of mine up too.

A back brush or loofa with a long handle can help clean the back too. Just make sure you keep the brush/loofah clean - wash it with soap and hot water after you use it and let it throoughly air dry

For the back, I sometimes use clindamincyn (spelling?) (its prescription from the dermatologist), just apply it before bed with a cotton pad. It works for little pimples, but big ones not so good.

I tried and tried and tried tons of different topical things but the only thing that works for my back acne is taking oral antibiotics such as Bactrim, Cephlax (sp??) and other things.

I have tried everything for back acne. Prescription oral meds, presciption topical meds... I even had these really expensive laser treatments before I got married. REALLY EXPENSIVE and not covered by insurance. But I was getting married! The only thing that has ever worked for me is the blasted tanning bed. I broke down and went after a friend finally convinced me to give it a try. Within a week it was better. After two weeks my back was nearly clear. You could still see where the old acne was healing, but there were no new break outs. When it gets bad, I go back. I only have to go a few times a week for a week or two and then it's clear for a while. I talked to my dr about it and he said the amount of exposure I get is nominal since I'm not going 20 minutes a day every day for weeks on end. It's definately cheaper than anything else I had to try!

Whatever you discover that works.. Good luck!
