my doc put me on provera to stop my period that i have been having for 2 months now and i have been taking it for 2 and a half days and it hasent stopped yet , is this normal or should I go to the doc monday?

Meds: aldactone 50mgs , marvelon(2months only)
Vitamins: vitamin E 400iu , high potency multi-vitamin , flax seed oil 3000 mg, fiber supplements.
Low Carb Diet / Started september14/2003 Start Weight 250 , Goal Weight 140.

I would take all the pills that the doc gave you to take. This will make you have a AF. I think that it normal but maybe someone else might be able to help you more.

Since provera is just progesterone, it should stop af. But it may take a few days. Did your dr tell you how long before it should work. I suppose it kind of works like bcp's. As long as you are taking the active pills af wont show.

The first time that I took provera was because I was spotting for about a month. I took the provera for like 10 days and then had a heavy AF. Then it stopped.
