It was shown during a pelvic scan that i had a complex cyst on my right ovary. A Mri scan revealed this to be blood and not cancer. The MRI also showed that i had a string of cysts on the left ovary although this seemed fine at the ultra sound 2 weeks earlier. The surgeon wants to rescan in 4 months to see if my body has absorbed the blood. ( cyst size Righr side 4.5cm 4cm 3.5 cm. The surgeon said that if it doesnt go the he wants to do a comlpete hyserectomy. I think this is a bit servere, He says no point in removing both overies without everything else. I asked at this point if there was anything i could do to help my condition and he said that there was nothing.
Since this 2 months ago i have been researching on the internet and discovered lots of things that can be done and also the health indications of PCOS. i am rather angry that i was not told any of this.
i have not been advised to have any tests and am concerned about insulin resistance and home levels also cholesterol levels etc. i feel it is rather short sighted not to treat holistically and assume that a total hysterectomy will solve my problems

I am slim and have not had gyny problems the scan was due to suspected IBS which has gone now.

Before i was diagnosed i did mention to my husband that i didnt tink i had ovulated for a while( i always had strong ovulation signals more that period signs)

I think i have ovulated this month and maybe the month before that.
i have had one acupuncture session am growing and drinking home grown wheatgrass taking starflowerr oil and inositol

if anyone has thought on my situation i would be glad of your help
i would also like your opinions on hysterectomy as a solution something which i believe will be a last resort
Also is ovulation a good sign
