I'm going to my RE and wanted to ask her for some BCP's but wanted a low dosage, I was on Yaz and it gave me headaches and changed my vision. Do you know any that are good with a low dosage of estrogen? Thanks

YAZ has 20 estrogen
Loestrin 24 is low
Mircette is 20-ish estrogen
Nuvaring produces the lowest blood estrogen levels, half that of YAZ even, but it gave me painful sex and yeast. Everyone's different though--I am very yeast prone anyway.

I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO. I don't know the specific amounts of hormones in it, but it is a low dose pill. I have been on it for over a year, with no complaints at all. My periods are shorter and lighter. I started it because I have endometriosis, and after my laparoscopy wanted to try to control the symptoms.
I have never tried YAZ, but I did take Yasmin and had terrible side effects.
