Post In Need Of Major Information

who do you see for pcos is there a specialest you go to. I am having problems getting into a gyn insurance problem. My pcp will not treat me and said to me oh its nothing major. Its not a life threatening thing. He sent me home with nothing for anything except a refural to a gyn that they was supposed to fax and wont lovely doctor isnt it.

I would recommend going to an endocrinologist...they are more specialized in PCOS and they can give you a lot more information than an ob/gyn can--I am probably bias though because I went to a gyno and had an awful experience. But I would recommend seeing an endo--mine really helped me out and gave me the answers and medicine that I needed to start my life back on a normal track! Well, I hope this was helpful!
