this is sounding very serious. I'm sorry i didn't respond sooner, one thing i would suggest you do asap if you have not already done so is to get your own bank acct. make sure it is not connected to your shared account and he has no access to this acct. this way he cannot hinder you leaving by making sure you have no money. that is often the next step, the other thing i would suggest you do asap is to seek out help from an abused women shelter in your area, i know you may not want to go through them but they will be able to tell you other steps to take to make sure you and your girls are protected.
best of luck
jt

Thanks JT. I've had a separate bank account since May of last year. Set this up for my inheritance and I have my entire pay check deposited into it. This may sound cruel but I have kept my name on the joint account even though it is mainly FHS's. I live out in the country and there really are no women's shelters around here. I'm just playing it safe and biding my time.

I think thats wise. Just keep biding your time and dont let him know or hint to you leaving. He's very controlling. Very!!
G, go with the flow, and i m sure something good will come ur way.

I wanted to post right now and give an update on some things. I did end up losing my job at the end of January. The company I worked for had a huge lay of and I was affected. My husband was pretty ok with it. I got a nice severance package and everything. Got a new home pc so I am back. He is good with it and understand that I need this to help in my job search and that I do enjoy coming online and chatting. I think he realizes it is a release for me so he is getting better with it.
On the homefront, we had a GREAT Valentine's Day. He come home from work late, but he had a job interview and when he got home, we discussed the position and decided he should take it. Ever since that moment, he's been the man I married. I believe that his old job had put so much stress on him, he was bringing that stress home. He has actually been the man I fell in love with and I can actually say, our sex life has vastly improved. I have not added him back to my siggy just because I am still slightly nervous he could go back to his old ways but only time will tell. I am willing to give him a chance and he is willing to work on what I need. Like I said, only time will tell what will happen, but maybe these next few days together will be good for us.
