 Need new Psychiatrist in Houston
I have been seeing the same Psych. for a few years, mainly because I get lots of sample medicine and because my doctor is so well known in Houston. Many people close to me have stated that I need a new doctor over the years but it has fallen on deaf ears. My doctor seems to push the new medicine or whats on the current medical study on me and this last time has been the worse. I went in for my monthly checkup with some big fears. I am Bipolar by the way and have known since I was 13, I have been suicidal and hospitalized 4 times, and have been on tons of meds. Well I go in because I am sleeping 18 hours a day and eating like crazy, sad and crying alot, having delusions of my boyfriend trying to kill me, many things!!! And he says we should take you off your current antidepressants and mood stabilzers and you should try this drug study. Hello I cannot be off antidepressants! And I have been on this medicine they are doing the drug study on. DUMB ASS!!! I told him no, just to add it to my current list of meds. Well my next appointment is in two weeks and I now myself know I need a new doctor. Anyone know of a good one in Houston??? It would help greatly! Thanks!
