 Need a PCOS doc in Newport News, VA! PLS!
Hi ladies! I have decided that I really need to pursue having my PCOS treated. I do not have insurance but at this point I'm willing to pay out of pocket to get it taken care of. Soooo here is what I need....I live in Newport News, VA. I have been to a couple of doctors. One had very little knowledge of PCOS and the other had minimum but did not want to treat me for it because he is a family physician. He gave me a referrel to a guy here in Newport News that is part of the TMPG or something along those lines. Dr. Morrison I believe. I called his office and they wanted around 200 dollars just to be seen so I'd like to look for other options. I've called around some but most places really did not seem to want to answer my questions over the phone (i.e. do you have exp. with PCOS?). So I need some guidance! Anyone in the Hampton Roads area who knows of a good doc who knows what PCOS is? I'd prefer the doctor be on the hampton, newport news, williamsburg side of the water! Thanks in advance!
