Default need a pick me up...feeling C##p (update)

i started Dianette a couple of weeks ago, was really hoping it would be the one BCP to work for me and help reduce hair, instead it gave me headaches brought my skin out in the worst case of acne i have had for years, made me turn into a complete nightmare rage machine and generaly feel awful. I have stopped it since yesterday as i couldnt handle feeling that angry and stressed even when just by myself !?
but today the acne is stinging and burning ( its the one symptom i didnt really suffer from) I bought simple skin care products as they are gentle. but i feel awful. i am supposed to be going out tonight to play some music with some old friends but my skin is putting me off doing that ( i am never like this)

Hugs for you. I hope you feel better soon or sort a different treatment out.

Dianette turned me into a monster. I think I hacked it for about 6 months but I got worse and worse sadly. I'm a VERY placid and easy going happy person but I nearly got arrested on Dianette. Some old biddy pushed into a que in front of me and I went crazy. It was something SO simple that made me flip. I'm so glad I ditched it. I hope it makes you feel better that this sort of thing effects alot of us too and I was feeling how you were, I never would go out.

Did the doctor talk through any other options for you?

feeling better today, still off but better, i went out with my friends and had a good time, and i told dr today exactly what dianette was like for me, she was great as BCP all send me a bit daft but this was the worst, my poor kids got shouted at more in the last 2 weeks than ever in their life! and after my rage i would cry like a basket case. who could beleive some hormones could do that to us.

Doc has put me on spiro and i am going to use vaniqa too, cant wait for the results to show.

You know the funny thing is that one of the side effects of spiro is masculinisation and deepening of the voice....hope i dont get that.

feeling cheerier and more chilled out again and alot less mental and shouty so should be back to my layed back self again soon.
