Any !! I am looking for a primary care and a re and a gyn ! I hate my primary care her remedy to solve even a cold is to tell me I need to lose weight and come buy these omega 3 fish oil pills in her office!! and of course I am on my third Gyn dont know about him yet if he is good or not!!

I started using Dr. Wayman 2 years ago when she replaced a retiring dr. that I was planning on seeing. I am very happy with her. She's very young GYN... explains things really well. I feel like I can talk to her about anything and she takes her time with me. I've never felt rushed when I've seen her.
I don't have a primary care dr. Still on the search for one of those myself.... I had seen Dr. Gilbert Haas for my PCOS for a few years, but finally got tired of how indifferent he was treating me. As for another PCOS dr.... Cheryl Black is an endocrinologist on the NW side of the city. I've heard good things about her, but haven't seen her myself. When I tried getting an appt a long while back, I was told I had to have a referral. And w/out a primary care dr to refer me, I was out of luck. Maybe things have changed though since that was forever ago. I'd love to find another PCOS dr too.
I started going to him in 2000. At first I was really impressed... I had just been diagnosed and didn't have a clue what was going on and he certainly knows a lot about PCOS. I was treated very well the first few times I went in. But after a couple of years.... he hadn't done anything for me but put me on bcp. And when I would see him, he would be short with me, rushed... just didn't seem concerned about me at all. The last time I saw him he griped to me about not being a gyn. Which I didn't understand why he was saying that.... he is listed as a gyn in my PPO directory, but I was seeing him for the PCOS, so I didn't see why that mattered. I just finally felt like I would have gotten MUCH better care from him if I had been TTC. Everyone that had recommended him to me was seeing him for fertility problems. I have 2 kids that are teenagers now... so having any more kids just wasn't in the cards for me. I honestly think that he is focused on helping women that are having fertility problems and if you aren't dealing with that... then he just doesn't want to be bothered with you. That is how I felt at the end. So I just stopped going to him. I know there are a lot of people that really like him. I know there aren't many drs around that seem to know much about PCOS. So it probably wouldn't hurt to go to the appt and see how it goes and what you think about him.
