Last nite my 16yr old adopted daughter ran away from home after she and I got in an arguement about her not following the house rules lately. She is already on probation for stealing my minivan in Jan of this year and now this .
I am very worried about her and if she is ok , please pray for my family.
Thank you very much ! I pray she is safe also. It really iritates me that noone will do anything until she is gone 24 hrs ... alot can happen in 24hrs.

You poor dear I know exactly what you are going through. A girlfriend of mine adopted a girl and a boy. The girl came from a home where there was gross sexual abuse and she really went haywire once puberty hit! She stole, she physically and mentally abused my girlfriend and her husband, she sexually molested her adoptive brother, she beat up on all authorities, she faked being hit by a car and a semi while in a group home. The list goes on and on including several runaway attempts! I most assuredly will be praying for you and your family. I will also be praying for this child so that maybe she will wake up and get straight before it is way too late. You have my sympathy and my prayers.

Well they brought my adopted daughter home Thursday evening, and we made it until last nite and she took off again , and so we have to wait another 24 hrs before they can legally do anything with her. The little brother of the girl she took off with , came to my house last nite and told me that she and this girl had been dropped off at some apartments in a rough neighborhood in town and that they were planning to go with these guys to rent a motel room for the night. The police are looking for the both of the girls , but it takes them being gone 24hrs before they will legally take them into secure custody and hold them either in juvenile hall or jail for a 24 hr period.
I knew that she was just waiting to take off again and I knew that she had still be sneaking out after everyone went to bed , because she was caught in a lie yesterday . While I had taken my two younger children to church she snuck out of the house and went to this girls apartment and called some of her friends. The phone in our home had been locked in our bedroom because she had been grounded from the phone. Well one of her girlfriends called back and left a message on my answering machine that she was returning my daughter's call. *instant red flag* when confronted she started her spill of we don't trust her and she doesn't care if we believe her or not. Then we had supper and I went to bed with a migrane, She supposedly was on the front porch listening to music and then when I got up to tuck my youngest daughter in , we realized she was gone. My husband had been in the living room with the two kids , and never realized that she was gone till I asked him where she was. We found a note she had started writing and balled up and basically she said that she felt we didn't care about her and that she didn't care anymore life was too short, (not in so nice a words) and she was gone.
All this and starting my Glucophage and getting ready for surgery this Friday .... I give it all over to God because I can't handle it.

Dear Lord, I lift this family up in prayer. Please bring them Peace and help them repair the damage done to the family. Be with this 16 year old girl who is making such bad decisions that will effect her life forever. Be with her parents, as they struggle with how to deal with her. Let them all know you are right there beside them every moment, and that you love them all dearly. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
