Unhappy Need prayers to help me chill out!

I'm stressed, my mom is having heart tests done on Thursday, not sure what's going on. My mom's best friend's DH past away on Thursday, worried about how mom is taking it. Cement is being poured for new Garage as I speak, I'm worried about how we are going to pay. Leaving on Saturday for trip to Florida with DH, DS, DD, MIL & FIL. Stressed about flying and about spending week with MIL & FIL. Worried about having IBS while I'm on vacation. Plus very worried about dog going into kennel for a whole week (my baby). And on and on..... Thanks for listening and thanks for your prayers!

Dearest Yolanda,

What comes to mind in your case is to remember to "Be still and know that He is God". Take yourself out of the thought process that your in right now (with your mind constantly running on worry) and remember that God is good and more powerful than anything or anybody! He carries us when we can no longer take it on our own. Many times He says that He will follow through with us and not to WORRY. Remember when He talks of "us of little faith"? Not giving ALL our worries to Him so that He may work through them for us. Easier said than done I know. I just had surgery a couple of days ago...an emergency Gall Bladder surgery, and asked some cysters about the surgery long before I knew what was wrong as I had an idea thats what it was. Well even after they all said it wasn't bad, I couldn't help but worry about what Could happen. Needless to say, God used me to minister to alot of the nurses and nurses aids as well as an elderly woman sitting in the bed beside me. Her sister came to visit and found she was diagnosed with Lupus and found she could no longer take any more trauma. I spoke with her and happened to have my Bible at my bedside and made sure that she took the time to "BE STILL". You see, when we take our eyes off of what GOD is able to do, we tend to lean on our own understanding and what WE see. That makes it almost impossible to get over anything! Just try and relax and every time you start to worry. Pray to Jesus. Ask Him to comfort you and give you peace through such a tough time in your life. He will hold you even when nobody else is there to help.

I remember the day before the surgery...after everyone had left...I was left with my worries of what may happen and what to expect. I asked Jesus to help me get through the night. All of a sudden, a nurses aid came in a spent most of her night talking to me and while she didn't know it, was being used by God to give me the peace I needed to make it through the night. While at the same time, I was talking to her about Jesus and what he's done in my life! God planted so many seeds in so many people while I was there. He showed me that I could be used even during my own fear through surgery. Many people have been impacted by my visit at the hospital and I thought that while I was talking about Him everyone would either run the other way , or think I was nuts! Not true, He is EVERYWHERE. I guarantee you that He is everywhere in your midst as well......Just remember to call on Him Yolanda. He wants you to stop taking so much on in your life concerning the worries of others on top of your own....He wants you to give Him your concerns and know that He has been by your side wiping your tears away during your trials. Be Still Hunny........your always asking Him for direction and help.....and in your frustration you can't hear His answers....but He is certainely there and wants you to know that it's in His time that you will be blessed from all the hurt and turmoil you've been through.

I've hoped I've helped you out alittle. I'm on from time to time, but won't be on all the time until we finally move to Ohio in a couple of weeks.....Please feel free to give me a personal message....but be patient for my response as I am using my mothers computer from time to time until we get to our new home.

God Bless You and May He keep you comforted and peaceful!
