Need prayers for my coworker.

hi ladies,

My coworker and very good friend had a slight seizure through the right side of his body yesterday and b/c he has no history of such a thing, his wife took him to the ER, where he had 4 more that afternoon. A CT scan inconclusively ruled out stroke - more unlikely b/c he's fit and only 27. We're waiting results from an MRI. The doctor thinks it could be a tumor putting pressure on his brain.

We work for a Catholic radio station and our flagship program was just picked up on EWTN radio and Sirius Satellite which means we've increased our listenership 100 fold or more. We are no strangers spiritual attack - especially of a physical nature.

Please say a prayer for him, his wife, and his doctors that the Lord's omnipotence will reign and release him from any physical or spiritual evil invading him.

Thanks Stacie. They have discovered a 4cm tumor on his brain. He's waiting for a biopsy to see if it's benign or malignant. His wife is trying so hard to be strong. I told her last night, it's ok NOT to be ok with this. It's so hard to watch the ones you love suffer. (Even though Nick is not suffering he hasn't had any more episodes so he's just bored sitting in the hospital) Jen (wife) just looking toward the future and running through all the possibilities in her head.

It must be so difficult for them just waiting for those results. I will pray for them and God's healing and His Will to be done in their lives.

This morning was his biopsy. We won't know the results until tomorrow. I've been very convicted lately of the omnipotence of God and I'm praying that it is miraculously ERASED from his brain.

Hi ladies,

Well good news and bad news. Initial results from the biopsy say benign - no cancer. It's being tested futher though. Next step will be radiation to shrink the tumor so that it doesn't interfere w/brain activity. Bad news - he will probably always have these seizures b/c scar tissue will develop on his brain. Also, he can't drink beer for at least two years - very sad, he likes beer a lot. But he came into work for a couple hours yesterday and I'm very glad to have him back - selfishly though b/c I don't like doing his job.

Glad to hear it wasn't cancer and I hope they can find some meds to help control the seizures.
