Need a RE in the tampa bay area- not cowart

I am looking for any recommendations for any RE's in the Tampa bay area. I live in Largo and went to see Dr. Cowart yesterday and didn't have a good experience. She is one of the those doctors that says loose more weight and then we'll talk. What do they expect, for bigger people to never have kids? I'm really desperate here, so if anyone has been to a doctor that didn't talk solely about weight loss, please let me know.

I had my first appt with Dr. Verkauf (Reproductive Medical Group - South Tampa Office) PM me if you want the number for new patients.

He was AWESOME, NEVER NOT ONCE did he mention my weight. He brought me in, sat me in a conference room, discussed my concerns, my expectations, my medical history. It was AWESOME I finally felt like a person not a chart number. He is doctor number 5 for me and came highly recommended from my GYN.

thank you for recommending a doctor! I'm sick of being told that I have to wait because I'm too heavy (300)... Do you mind me asking if you are close to my weight?

You have to call Sharon, (she is a bit tough to get thru too) I got her voice mail 2 days in a row but she did call me back and schedule it. 813-676-8825 is the new patient number to call.

I can tell you they work quickly.

I scheduled my appt less than 2 weeks ago, went to my initial appt on Tuesday, have my HSG Friday, DH is having SA on Friday, go for Labs on the 18 & 19th and we'll proceed on the 30th with plan of action after all my results are in.

It's to check for blockage in fallopian tubes.

So I was unable to see Dr. Verkauf, but I did see Dr. McCormick who is also at the same practice and she was WONDERFUL!!! Thank you so much for the recomendation!
