Default Need recipes for flourless, low carb or low GI cakes

We are going to friends' house for dinner on Saturday night and they have asked us to bring dessert. I wanted to make something yummy but something I could eat as well. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks.

Jashobeam posted this earlier: Almond Flour Cake

Another option is to make a flourless chocolate cake-- these are mostly egg and chocolate but have a little bit of sugar in them.

An option that would be completely healthy would be to make a fruit salad. Yum.
