Hello everyone!!!

I was diagnosed with pcos in oct 08, did provera and lo estrin 24 for 4 months and got no results. (I haven't had a period for 3 years!) My dr did a D&C and Hysterocopy and found nothing wrong with me (cept the cysts on my ovaries). So I told him about how I work out 4 times a week and cannot for the life of me lose weight. He put me on metformin. Well.. i felt i should start checking my sugar levels. I check it in the morning and its about 125-145 without met. and since I started met it rages anywhere from 91-150. Well I check it 2 hrs after I eat and it was 387 after I had lunch the other day! This morning it was 145 when I woke up and I ate and 3 hrs later my sugars were 250.
This is abnormal right?! I've been sick for a while and we're still trying to put the puzzle together. anyone gota idea?!

Of course, I'm not a dr but your fasting blood sugar seems to fall in the range of diabetes. You should call your dr and ask for a physical and have him test your fasting sugar, cholesterol, and thyroid. Best of luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!
