hi my period is late again but last two days i keep getting lots of sharp pains in my tummy i get a sharp pain it will last a minute or two and go away then it comes back later then i get another one later this keeps happening i dont know what the pain is i do get a tummy pains before my period but not as bad as this what should i do

Hi Dee,
I often get sharp pains to not only around af time but just every now and then during the month. I have so many cyst they sometimes get so bad I have like a cramping pain that gets kinda sharp. When this started to happen freq. My dr did an ultra sound to make sure there were no ruptured cysts.And thank GOD there were none. So He then gave me bc for a month and the cramps go away. But they do come back.I suggest you contact your dr. maybe do a phone consult to see what he recomends.
I know this is not a lot of info but I hope it helps to know you are not alone with this problem.
