Default Need some help with research paper

Hi Ladies!
Some of you might already know this, but I'm a massage student. One of my classes requires me to write a research paper about massage. I decided to write about PCOS and how it might/can help PCOS and PCOS symptoms. I would like your help!

If you've ever had any type of massage (any modality from relaxation to therapeutic), chiropractic that included soft tissue manipulation/massage, reflexology, or even just a significant other rubbing your back, etc.... I'd like your input. I just want to know what you had done, a little description of it (what the person did, how it felt, etc), and what, if any, effect it had on your PCOS/symptoms (bad or good).

If you do decide to share your experience, please post or PM me. If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, let me know. Hope you can help me.

I was seeing a chiropractor for a couple of months and had to get deep tissue therapy as well. It helped immensely especially right around the time of ovulating or menses.
During these times of my cycle, they primarily worked on my lower back/hips.
I generally almost always have dh apply pressure to the sides of my lower back, similar to what women will have done during labor if that helps. Also massaging the upper front part of my pelvic/hip bone feels great when I'm having ovulatory pain.
I think this is fascinating Mishee! My little brother is a licensed massage therapist, and I am hoping he will get into the more healing/reflexology massage field.

Thanks for responding Samie! I love the healing/therapeutic side of massage - so I'm fascinated by whether massage can relieve PCOS symptoms. I'd like to know more about the deep tissue work you've had if you're willing to share. I'm working on a sort of questionaire that has the info I need for my research. If you're up for it, I'll send it this weekend. Thanks again!!!
