Need some successes stories. what you did that worked
HI i'm new to the web site i'm 24. and just need some suggestions. just finished my 2 round of clomid and still nothing. all i got was a 42 cm cyst!! i'm taking avandamet 500mg BID should i go back to metformin. i am so frustrated. i want to be pg now. what can i do to make my body ovulate! when i had my US done this week and the lady told me there was nothing but a huge cyst i just cried. i had felt for sure it worked. please help we have been trying for 3years.

I tried for baby #2 for four years. What worked for me:
-I lost 30 lbs
-several months of Met (1000mg a day)
-added Clomid to the mix (100mg)
-also my husband had his testosterone checked and started taking a supplement because it was low
We got pregnant on my first cycle with Clomid & Met.

I went on an Insulin Resistant diet and took a short course of Met. I lost weight (initially about 20lbs) and started to feel better and then I got PG.
When I was dxed my right ovary that was 3x the size it should've been and covered with cysts it has now completely recovered as well.
I had to do 4 rounds of clomid before it worked...I'm also on Met (soley for baby purposes)...Keep trying.

I strongly suggest you go back on Met and stay on it! It helps clomid work better and gives you better egg quality. You need to be on at least 1500mg. Clomid did not work for me, but Gonal F injections sure did!!!(One son and twin daughters). Do not move on to injections without Met., it helps as well. Stay on Met throughout your pg to prevent miscarriage and gd. Good luck!!!

Met did NOT work for me and then some. I did DCI (d-chiro-inositol) and Prometrium 200 from CD 17 (after O confirmed) until week 32. Had DD last Thanksgiving!

Should've added: I bled for 2 years straight, through femara, through clomid, through met (hate met), and kept bleeding. Kept shedding. Kept getting fatter. Had first cycle longer than 16 days in 3 years the first cycle of DCI. Finally O'd!! For us it was a miracle. I bought it from www.chiralbalance.com 600 mg dose worked for me.
