DH is putting together a montage with our ultrasound video, ultrasound pics, etc. We can't come up with a good song for a baby boy. All the baby type songs I can think of are for little girls..hehe..
My husband did that too. He used a few different songs, but the main "baby" one he chose was Stay up Late by The Talking Heads. I thought it was cute.

Beautiful Boy by John Lennon? He wrote it for his young son...
Quote:
Close your eyes,
Have no fear,
The monsters gone,
He's on the run and your daddy's here,
Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,
Before you go to sleep,
Say a little prayer,
Every day in every way,
It's getting better and better,
Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,
Out on the ocean sailing away,
I can hardly wait,
To see you to come of age,
But I guess we'll both,
Just have to be patient,
Yes it's a long way to go,
But in the meantime,
Before you cross the street,
Take my hand,
Life is just what happens to you,
While your busy making other plans,

Hey, I'm a child of the 80's! First thing that came to mind was "Let's Hear It For the Boy!" by Denise Williams. Also, "Baby, Baby" by Amy Grant.

Thank you for all the great ideas!! I sent DH a list and he's going to work on it this weekend, I'll let you know what song he picks once it's done To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Isreal Kamm.... oh boy I don't know how to spell that name! Its Hawaiian. Do a search for somewhere over the rainbow and you'll find it. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

It's Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and it's a great version of the song - it is part Somewhere Over the Rainbow and then goes into What a Wonderful World - very beautiful. I cry when I hear it.
